Chief Executive Manager
Prior to acquiring his real estate license in 2013, Mr. Ollestad was a licensed mortgage originator for twelve years. He has also been purchasing, renovating, renting and selling real estate since 2005. Fast forward to 2022 and Eric Ollestad owns and manages more than 70 high quality rental units in Minneapolis and the surrounding communities. Eric loves sports and athletics and has a special knack for building long lasting friendships with people from all walks of life. A veteran of the Real Estate industry, Mr. Ollestad brings an experience level that is critical to the Company’s success.
Mrs. Ollestad’s responsibilities at Value Homes center on bookkeeping and administrative functions. Claudia Ollestad has 13 years’ experience in the areas of customer care, human resources and administrative management. Claudia is fluent in Spanish as she grew up in Medellin, Colombia. Prior to joining Value Homes, Claudia Ollestad held the positions of Office Manager at InteGrand Solutions, Personal Advocate at Cigna and Office Manager for a State Farm Insurance Agency. She loves to travel back to Colombia and for her there’s nothing better than planning a BIG Birthday Party or special event! And if there’s Salsa music playing you better be ready to dance! Claudia’s professional strengths lie in the area of bookkeeping and office administration.
Jessica Wiese has an amazing ability to multi-task and flat out get things done! Mrs. Wiese has an impressive resume including Branch Manager and Loan Officer at TCF Bank as well as Controller at Mauzy managing over 800 doors! She loves to travel to warm places, hike, eat seafood and cooking. For Value Homes Jessica is all things client related from initial Leases to Resident Portal to repairs and maintenance. Mrs. Wiese takes big time pride in providing all tenants the best living experience possible. She likes to go go go so Value Homes’ residents are in extremely good hands!
Director of Operations
Prior to her current position with Value Homes, Ms. Smith was a professional designer and stager for six years. She has always had an overwhelming passion for transforming residential homes. Amber was also a licensed title closer helping buyers and sellers complete their real estate transactions. Her career started in the non-profit world at the American Red Cross as an Executive Account Manager. She loves to crack jokes and have a good time at work and while getting together with friends and family. At Value Homes Amber Smith has really hit her stride using her gift of home design along with her ability to lead and manage people in order to help provide beautiful and functional homes to residents all over the Twin Cities. She’s basically the “Face of Value Homes” always smiling and having fun with the residents and workers as she handles all client related issues and project management.
